Whilst I have had no complaints about the efficacy of the square electrodes, indeed, performance-wise they are excellent, I have now tried the round ones and found that not only are they just as good, they stay on better. This is, presumably, due to the fact that there are no corners to catch on clothing and peel the electrode off.
